Are Adult Group Lessons Available?
Yes, our 8-week adult lessons run at a 4:1 student-to-coach ratio for players at every skill level. Sessions suit professionals commuting from Victoria Park Avenue or Kennedy Road after working hours. See our adult group tennis lessons page for current times.
What Experience Does the Coaching Staff Have?
Director Peter Nielsen is a Tennis Canada National Coach and National Senior Champion with over 40 years of experience. Head Pro Roshun Razik brings Davis Cup and NCAA credentials alongside coaching certifications from four countries. Ahmed Ahmed and Avery Nielsen add OTA qualifications and competitive instruction to every programme.
How Do I Travel From Tam O'Shanter-Sullivan?
Head west on Sheppard Avenue East or take Highway 401 westbound to Bayview Avenue and north to Cresthaven Dr. The commute is about 20 minutes depending on traffic along Sheppard or the 401 corridor in North York. Families from Agincourt follow the same westbound route along Sheppard.
Is There a Spring Programme for Kids?
The Junior Spring Program covers 8 weeks with 2 to 3 sessions per week on our revitalized courts. Coaches build fundamentals including stroke mechanics, footwork, and basic rally skills for all levels. Visit our junior spring programme page for the schedule.
What Makes the Commute From Here Worthwhile?
Our coaching team includes a Davis Cup player and an award-winning Tennis Canada director — credentials rare locally. Newly revitalized courts and ratios as low as 4:1 give players a training experience well worth the drive. Families from Don Valley Village also travel for the same quality instruction.
Can I Arrange Private Tennis Lessons?
Private and semi-private lessons are available seven days a week for juniors and adults at our courts. Each session is tailored by certified coaches to the player’s individual goals and current ability level. Book on our private tennis lessons page or phone us directly.
Does Tennis Instruction Continue in Fall?
Our Fall Junior Program runs 6 weeks with 2 to 3 sessions per week to keep skills sharp after summer. Coaches introduce new tactical elements and refine technique on our courts near Bayview and Sheppard. Players from Milliken and Tam O’Shanter-Sullivan enjoy the fall season together.
What Beginner Support Do You Provide?
Beginners enjoy a 6:1 student-to-coach ratio with age-appropriate drills that build confidence step by step. Coaches introduce grip technique, rally skills, and basic positioning in a supportive group environment. Many families start with the spring programme and continue into summer for continuous development.
