Frequently asked questions
What Junior Summer Camp Options Exist?
Our summer camp runs for up to 9 weeks and offers both full-day and half-day schedules with optional extended care. Beginners are placed in 6:1 groups and advanced players in 4:1 groups for the right pace of development. Pleasant View families near Pleasant View Community Centre find our location especially convenient.
How Qualified Are Your Tennis Instructors?
Head Pro Roshun Razik is a former Davis Cup player who has coached across four countries with world-class credentials. Director Peter Nielsen is a National Senior Champion with over 40 years and 17,000-plus students coached. Learn about the full team on our about us page.
Can My Child Start With No Experience?
Absolutely. Our beginner groups are structured for children picking up a racquet for the very first time. Coaches introduce basic grips, stances, and rally skills in a supportive 6:1 environment before progressing. Families from Concord Park Place and Pleasant View often start with beginners.
Is There an Eight-Week Adult Programme?
What Is the Commute From Pleasant View?
Our courts are just minutes away via Sheppard Avenue East heading toward Bayview Avenue in North York. Leslie Station on TTC Line 4 is nearby, and drivers can use Leslie Street or Bayview Avenue to reach us. Families in the M2J postal code area typically reach our Cresthaven Dr facility in under 10 minutes.
Are Fall Sessions Available for Juniors?
Do You Offer One-on-One Tennis Coaching?
Private lessons are available seven days a week for both juniors and adults seeking individualised attention. Each session is customised to address specific goals, from improving serve technique to tournament preparation. Book through our private tennis lessons page or call us directly.
What Are the Group Sizes Like?
We maintain some of the smallest group sizes in North York — 6:1 for beginners and 4:1 for advanced players. Every player receives meaningful feedback and sufficient court time during each session as a result. Families from Don Valley Village and Pleasant View value this personalised approach.
What Should My Child Bring to Camp?
Players should arrive with a tennis racquet, athletic shoes suited for court surfaces, and a water bottle. Sunscreen and a hat are recommended for outdoor sessions during the summer months near Sheppard East Park. Our coaches supply all training balls and equipment needed for drills and match play.
