Frequently asked questions
What Summer Tennis Camp Options Exist?
Our junior summer camp runs for up to 9 weeks with full-day, half-day, and extended care formats. Players are grouped by age and ability, with beginners at 6:1 and advanced juniors at 4:1 ratios. Milliken families can head west on Steeles Avenue or Highway 401 to reach our Bayview-area courts.
Do You Offer Group Lessons for Adults?
Our 8-week adult group lessons run at a 4:1 ratio for players at all levels on our revitalized courts. They are suited to residents commuting westbound from McCowan Road or Kennedy Road after work. Visit our adult group tennis lessons page for session details.
Who Coaches the Tennis Programmes?
Head Pro Roshun Razik played Davis Cup for Sri Lanka and competed at the NCAA level before coaching internationally. Director Peter Nielsen is a Tennis Canada National Coach with over 40 years and 17,000-plus students coached. Learn about the full team on our about us page.
How Do I Get to the Courts From Milliken?
Take Highway 401 westbound to Bayview Avenue and head north to Cresthaven Dr near Sheppard Avenue East. Alternatively, Steeles Avenue west to Bayview Avenue provides a surface-route option from the M1V area. Families from Agincourt and Milliken share a similar westbound commute.
Is There a Spring Programme Available?
The Junior Spring Program runs 8 weeks with 2 to 3 sessions per week on our courts near Bayview Avenue. Coaches build stroke fundamentals, movement, and rally skills in groups matched to each player’s level. See our junior spring programme page for scheduling.
Why Travel to North York for Tennis?
Our coaching staff includes a Davis Cup player and an award-winning Tennis Canada director — rare credentials. Newly revitalized courts and student-to-coach ratios as low as 4:1 provide a premium training environment. Families from Tam O’Shanter-Sullivan make the trip for the same reasons.
Can I Book Private Tennis Coaching?
Private and semi-private lessons are available seven days a week for juniors and adults at our facility. Coaches tailor each session to the individual player’s goals whether they are a beginner or competing. Book through our private tennis lessons page for availability.
Does the Camp Continue Into Fall?
Our Fall Junior Program runs 6 weeks with 2 to 3 sessions per week to maintain skills after summer ends. Coaches refine technique and introduce tactical concepts on our courts in North York each autumn season. Players from Don Valley Village and Milliken attend fall sessions together.
What Group Ratios Do You Maintain?
We keep groups small — 6:1 for beginner players and 4:1 for advanced juniors and adults in all programmes. This ensures every player receives personalised coaching, adequate court time, and meaningful feedback. Milliken families value this focused approach as a key differentiator from larger camp alternatives.
How Do I Contact the Camp?
