Frequently asked questions
What Summer Camp Formats Are Offered?
Our junior summer camp runs for up to 9 weeks with full-day, half-day, and extended care options. Players are grouped by age and ability at beginner ratios of 6:1 and advanced ratios of 4:1. Agincourt families along Sheppard Avenue East can drive west toward Bayview Avenue to reach us.
Are There Adult Tennis Lessons Available?
Our adult group lessons run in 8-week sessions at a 4:1 ratio on our newly revitalized courts in North York. They suit Agincourt residents who commute along Sheppard Avenue East or Highway 401 toward the Bayview area. Details are on our adult group tennis lessons page.
What Makes the Coaching Team Special?
Head Pro Roshun Razik is a former Davis Cup player for Sri Lanka with NCAA experience and international certifications. Director Peter Nielsen holds a Tennis Canada National Coach designation with over 40 years of coaching experience. Ahmed Ahmed and Avery Nielsen bring OTA qualifications and competitive backgrounds to every session.
How Do I Get to the Courts From Agincourt?
Head west on Sheppard Avenue East toward Bayview Avenue, then north to 37 Cresthaven Dr in North York. Highway 401 westbound to Bayview Avenue or the Don Valley Parkway is another direct route from the M1S area. Families from Tam O’Shanter-Sullivan follow the same westbound Sheppard route.
Is There a Spring Programme for Juniors?
The Junior Spring Program runs 8 weeks with 2 to 3 sessions per week building stroke fundamentals for summer. Coaches develop technique, footwork, and court awareness in small groups on our revitalized courts. Visit our junior spring programme page for dates and availability.
What Makes the Commute Worthwhile?
Our coaching credentials are unmatched in the area — a Davis Cup player and a 10-time award-winning director. Newly revitalized courts and small group ratios of 4:1 and 6:1 provide a training experience hard to find locally. Families from Don Valley Village and Agincourt make the trip for this quality.
Are Private Tennis Lessons an Option?
Private and semi-private lessons are available seven days a week for juniors and adults at our courts. Coaches customise each session to focus on the player’s specific goals, from beginner skills to competition. Explore our private tennis coaching page for booking details.
Does the Camp Run a Fall Programme?
What Skill Levels Can Join the Camp?
We welcome complete beginners through to competitive players at every programme we offer in North York. Coaches assess each player and group them appropriately — 6:1 for beginners, 4:1 for advanced juniors. Agincourt families value the structured progression that helps their children improve season over season.
